  1.      Use  POPPRINT  in DOS to fax any non-ASCII file. You run  FAXMAN  then
  2. POPPRINT.
  3. C:\MTEZ>faxman
  4. C:\MTEZ>popprint

  6.      You  do  NOT  run MTEZ. From your  DOS  application  (Wordperfect  for
  7. example), You set up a Printer Driver ( ** Epson FX85, RX80 or FX80 ** ) in
  8. THAT  application.  Then you press the 2  <shift> keys which  will  give  a
  9. 'beep'.  Then PRINT the file from THAT application as you  normally  would,
  10. except  using  the  FX/RX printer driver in place  of  your  usual  driver.
  11. POPPRINT  will  capture  the output, and when done  converting,  present  a
  12. window, ready to fax.

  14.      If the window does not appear, the TEMP directory in SET TEMP= or  SET
  15. TMP=  in Autoexec.bat may not exist. Also may be TSR problem.  If  you  get
  16. garbage, you have the wrong Printer Driver in Word Perfect.

  18.      One thing you must also remember, Popprint cannot fax fonts built-into
  19. your printer. Only fonts actually sent TO your printer, or built into MTEZ.

  21.      Beacuse  MTEZ  faxes 'portrait' mode, if you fax from  Lotus  or  some
  22. other  programs  which will be WIDE, you will need to  use  the  'sideways'
  23. print  function of that software so it will fit on an 8" wide sheet of  fax
  24. paper.  It  would be the same as faxing to an Epson normal  carraige  9-pin
  25. printer.

  27.      Popprint  uses  conventional memory only. If you are not going  to  be
  28. using Popprint you may want to remove it, and reload it only as needed.
